Well, two new skins actually. First, I've finished the Bug Skin. It's green and brown. Has bit of a forest feel to it, I personally love the way it turned out.
And for people who were wondering what the holiday surprise was, it would be the new Community Skin. Yes. I totally just came up with the idea two weeks ago. I had everybody tell me their favourite Pokémon, and all of those can be found somewhere on the skin. Then I had people tell me their favourite combination of two colours. I picked the most popular colour combination I saw posted, which was black and red. And black and red became the skin's colour scheme.
The Community Skin will be set as the default skin for a little while. I hope you all enjoy it. And have a Merrily Happy Secular Winter Celebration too!

Though not the most amazing thing, Toys R Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico will be giving away a level 50 Dragonite on November 8th and 9th. This Dragonite can be used in official tournaments where the level cut-off for Pokémon is level 50. So if you plan on entering official tournaments like that, it would be a good idea to go get one if you want to use a Dragonite.

I've added all of Platinum's sprites to the image gallery. Expect the GTSDex to be updated with new level up attacks and additional data on the new formes (Sky Shaymin, various Rotoms, Origin Giratina) in the near future as well.
